And sipping carbonated light colored beverages do seem to help nausea. No more hot dogs is an excellent idea. If you're not feeling better soon, please seek medical attention. Don't get dehydrated - suck ice chips if you can't keep stuff down. Don't feel bad about putting holds on the trip - everybody has things happen and I'm sure your friends understand. Sorry to hear you're under the weather though. Ibuprofen for fever, btw. But please see a doc if you don't improve soon. Hang in there. mom

Rice ... rice is easy on the stomach and easy to c...

Rice ... rice is easy on the stomach and easy to cook ... brown rice would be even better for you. Also your favorite ... applesauce!!! I think Motts is the best, but you may have your own favored brand. And then there's bananas too. The last recommended item for a ticklish tummy/overactive tushy is toast. You may not have a toaster handy, but could try toasting over a campfire. This is a 4 item list called the BRAT Diet - our pediatrician's reccommendation when your 4 cousins were little. It really did seem to work well at getting them back to the land of the living! Now Grandma Goodhart's standbys were gingerale and soda crackers ... no cooking reqired so that's a big plus for her remedy.<BR/>Love you bub!
